Edward came into the bedroom,eyes fixed on pulling up his fingerless gloves onto his hand. Going silent upon his eyes finding you.

“Well! Aren’t we looking handsome.”

A sly smile creeping onto his face.

“It’s a little big on waist.” You reply,tugging on the extra fabric on the loose waist fabric. Ed coming closer, arms holding you gently. Loving.

“I can ask jervis to do some modifications. He wouldn’t mind certainly.”

He hummed out gently. Fingers finding your chin.

“It makes you feel good?”

He asked,your nod causing him to move hid glasses down his nose a bit,eye brows raised a bit.

“What is that which the dead and living do at the same time?” The riddle caught you off guard. The answer not coming immediately to you but after a few moments it snapping into your thoughts.

“I’m not lying Eddie.”

“Are you just saying that to get me to stop asking?”

Were you? Did this make you feel good? Complete? You? It certainly felt right. Comfortable.

“I’m not trying to put you on the spot just…..it would look rather bad on me to bring you not looking your best.” His hand held yours,tight. He was wonderful. Accepting.

“Because that’s the only reason. Lying Mr nigma?”

You chuckled giving him a peck on the cheek. Edward’s cheeks going slightly red.

“It’s a reason,whether or not it’s the main one is something-“ He turned you to face him a bit,straightening the purple you wore just a little bit. “I leave you to fixate on.”

The reason was he loved you,that was the reason. It was just….a little hard for him to say that kinda stuff out loud sometimes.
